Meet the Painters:
Doug, Jason, and Desmond Aborn
family-owned & operated
Doug and Jason have been painting together in Southern NH for 17 years.
But their story doesn’t start with paint…
In 1987, Doug brought his family (his wife, Jason, and his two sisters) to New Hampshire so he could pursue his dream of opening a restaurant. Jason worked for him as a bartender and server.
After 20+ years in the restaurant industry, Doug was ready for a much-needed change of pace.
They traded in bar tabs for brushes, and both began working for a high-end painter in the area.
Several years later, seeing a need, they decided to venture out and open their own painting company, and Pitcher Mountain Painting was born.
After 17 years working together, they haven’t looked back!
Over 35 Years of Combined Experience
Doug and Jason bring over 35 years of combined experience, a commitment to providing the highest quality, a discerning eye, and a healthy sense of humor to every project they take on!
Community and family-oriented, Doug lives in Stoddard, New Hampshire, with his wife, Keryl, and two rambunctious cats, Henry and Ramona. He’s a proud grandfather of three and loves hiking off the beaten track.
Jason lives in Temple, New Hampshire, with his wife, Emily where he enjoys watching birds while sipping his coffee on the back deck and enjoying the beautiful hiking trails this area has to offer.
Desmond, the newest member of the Pitcher Mountain Painting team, joined his grandfather (Doug) and uncle (Jason) in 2024 and loves working alongside them, learning the tools of the trade. He brings a strong work ethic to the team, and customers love having him around. Desmond is a Junior at Dublin School. He lives in Peterborough with his mother and their kitten, Topaz.
